Carrington Care Case Study
The Problem
An amendment to the Retirement Villages Regulation, Asset Management Plans, requires additional reporting on cost allocation for retirement village assets
Team Involved:
Business Application Manager, CFO, COO, Operations manager
The Process
The process involved the following:
- Purchase system specifically created to satisfy the reporting requirements – expensive, more maintenance overhead, entering data in multiple places
- Purchase enhancement to current ERP – expensive, potentially under developed and no control to update
- Utilise existing data from our ERP to create the required reports
The Solution
Datsys worked through the legislation requirements with the internal team and 3rd party consultants. Documented current business processes. Developed reports in SQL.
The outcome provided the client with a comprehensive SQL report suite with data from ERP that was certified by a 3rd party auditor.
